Many of you have noticed some changes here and there, and some of you guessed it. Yes, indeed, I have.
I bought AddToAny back!
Yours Truly, Founder of AddToAny, sharing/saving/subscription machine, supporter of web publishers, Pat Diven II, “micropat” is again the proud owner of the boomerang that is AddToAny.
More passionate and appreciative than ever before, I’m back at it full-time and I’ve got the keys. I can’t wait to (re)deliver on what matters most to publishers, developers, and always of course, the end-user.
Your feedback is my fuel, your praise on recent updates has already been reinvigorating, and I’m excited to show you the new paint and new things we’ve been working on that you will love for a number of years. Thank you, world, and please do keep the feedback coming!

Share to Google+ within your sharing menu
Many of you have asked about sharing to Google’s social network, Google+, within your universal sharing menu. Our response has generally been, ‘We are waiting for Google to release a sharing endpoint for Google+,’ But then we got tired of waiting and developed a interim workaround. 🙂
So starting today – no upgrade necessary – your visitors can share your content to Google+. Our temporary workaround is to offer a landing page on addtoany.com that offers a Google +1 button that targets your original link. A couple neat things about this: a) You don’t have to make any new changes since this is an automatic release, and b) Your pages do not incur the additional load of the Google+ JavaScript and button assets.
Of course, as soon as Google+ releases a traditional public sharing endpoint, we’ll switch over to it immediately and automatically.

AddToAny to continue as Lockerz Share for universal sharing
As many of you know from the tweets and the TechCrunch post, AddToAny has been acquired by Lockerz.
Lockerz is best known as the leader in rewarding social expression and together we’re working on some awesome new things in the universal sharing space.
What’s changing?
Primarily just the front-facing name, dear developers. The original mission continues. AddToAny will be branded as Lockerz Share, and Lockerz Share will continue as the best universal sharing platform and widget.
Speed, efficiency, customization, and innovation will be at the heart of continued development, and we’re super excited about the upcoming months. You should be too. 🙂
